Statement-giving officially launched in the U.K. on October 6, in an event hosted by the Liberian Embassy in London. Ambassador Wesley Johnson, who was unable to attend, graced the occasion with a written statement of support for the TRC Diaspora effort. The London office of the law firm of Faegre & Benson is working closely with the Union of Liberian Organizations in the UK (ULO-UK) to raise awareness about the TRC Diaspora Project and to encourage Liberians to tell their recommendations and experiences to the TRC.
