Outreach
Between January 2007 and August 2008, The Advocates for Human Rights collected statements from Liberians throughout the United States, and in parts of the UK and Ghana. Public hearings were also held before the Liberia TRC Commission in June 2008. To support the statement taking process, the Advocates conducted outreach and education about the Liberia TRC Diaspora Project for members the Liberian community, volunteers, community leaders, and the general public.
