The Advocates to Travel to Ghana to Take Statements this Fall

The Advocates will be leading a team of volunteer statement takers to Ghana to take statements from residents of Buduburam Refugee Settlement camp. One team from The Advocates will travel to Ghana September 21 to September 30, 2007, and a second team will travel to Ghana September 28 to October 7, 2007. The teams will be led by Robin Phillips, The Advocates' Executive Director, and Jennifer Prestholdt, The Advocates' Deputy Director.
Previously, The Advocates staff and volunteers, along with three TRC representatives, gathered more than 160 statements durnig a week-long statement taking pilot project in May 2007.
