Volunteers Needed for TRC Public Hearings & Public Outreach Events

The first ever hearings of a truth commission in the Diaspora are coming to Minnesota, and The Advocates needs your help.  We are seeking volunteers to assist with logistics, statement-taking, witness and commissioner support, and many other tasks.  If you would like to be a volunteer during this historic week please contact Deirdre O'Brien at dobrien@advrights.org and provide the following information:

1. Name
2. Phone Number
3. Whether you have already completed statement taker training
4. What days you will be available and when (Morning, Afternoon, and/or Evening)
5. Whether you have a car that you would be willing to use to transport people and/or items
6. Your state of residence
7. Your occupation
8. 1-2 sentences on why you want to volunteer
